honesty - 'just when I thought...'

Honesty if my new defense. I honestly don't think that a comment or thought can be offensive or rude if I am honest and say what I think. After all, to be honest is to credit someone with intelligence. And I'm done with living like I don't have an opinion.

Yes, I'm making excuses for this poem/observation. But rather that than have myself misunderstood. Because in all, I think, observation and honest counts for so much. Just an observation I'm commenting on. Because it's interesting...

Just when I thought
you couldn't get more aesthetically pleasing,
more "into" the "look" I'm into
(whatever that means),
couldn't perk my interests more

you turn up unexpectedly
in our group.
turn up unexpectedly
to the restaurant
with your hair blackened

and in seamed stockings
black as my outlook
