the best "to do" list ever
It's the simple things. Nothing wrong with that!
make a list(thanks to Beth for this life-affirming trick)
- Enjoy a car journey home without having to worry about transfers, not having a seat, or affording snacks.
- "getting in" - and all that entails. A cup of tea, home cooking or a takeaway, seeing what's changed around the house.
- Sit in the Bell and Barrel with my friends, catch up, play pool and generally be snug indoors. Jam Nights. They probably suck, but it means I'm home. I don't care if just relaxing with my friends and catching up over a drink is boring or common, or whatever. It's something really important and makes me content. I don't think sitting in a little corner by the pool table or even walking to the Seven Stars is too much to ask from life :)
- St.Helens Town. Well, I never thought I'd miss the somewhat boring town centre, but damn it, it's home - and wandering around looking for presents will be nice and nostalgic.
- I wonder if I'll get to go to a Rugby match whilst I'm home. Maybe there will be a 'Friendly' just after Christmas.
- Eccleston (my village within the borough of St.Helens). I'll definitely be taking some walks around home over the holidays.
- Just sitting in the house and reading, enjoying a drink before helping with the Christmas Dinner.
- New Year (although I dislike New Year's Eve) will bring the usual need to be organized and calm. Much buying of stationary, candles and planning diary entires in an attempt to appear on the ball and relaxed.
OK, so I know there will be lots of work to do too. Sorting out Uni work, revising, etc etc. I'm not kidding myself. But still, "all work and no play..." etc

This is a good list. I shall have to make one when I get home! :)
