myriad of thoughts
Well. I'm back. Just a collection of thoughts really, somewhat disjointed.
Home sweet home, eh? Less than two hours after I return, and back to the same old... things. You know you're leaving home life behind when you fear you're sometimes more mature than your family. The trip was good, but it was only when I got home that I realized maybe (just maybe) the reason I travel is to get away from certain things.
Anyway, it was good. Without being big-headed, I was pretty pleased with myself, because I organised it all myself. Yeah, big deal, I know - I don't want a medal or anything, but I'm still pretty pleased with myself for being able to travel several hundred miles a day, using three different types of transport, getting a roof over my head for the night, a manual job, payment (!) and food and drink. Boring to some people I guess, but it was a challenge.
So I've come back a bit wiser, a bit more independent, quieter (for a while at least) and with a lot less money! In fact money being the only drawback, the wandering life really suits.
I'd better leave off for now. There are heaps of things I was going to talk about, but... hey, you don't want to hear about it, do you? ;)
